Layla Olefs : Co-founder and Sustainability Manager
Layla has spent her life traveling to various corners of the world. She is a marine conservationist and ecologist by training and has a profound passion for all that is nature. Layla is the science brain of our core team, a true biology nerd! You’ll often see her spreading her knowledge in schools, public events or on social media. Stephen Olefs: Community Development Coordinator
Stephen is our young tactical brain and he is set on changing the world. He is a business student in Canada and wants to create an immediate impact. He is on his way to doing exactly what he has set out to do! His role in White Green Blue is to expand and grow our community. We can make a big difference on our own, but we can move mountains when we all work together. If you want to become part of our family, Stephen is your go-to guy. He is also part of our app development team and can help you with any technical questions.
Gert Olefs: Co-founder and Managing Director
Gert is a highly experienced and equally passionate member of the core team, having built a 30+ year business career in three different continents. He has a masters in bioengineering with a focus in forestry. He loves the planet and believes in taking action and creating impact! He is also passionate about creating World Peace by 2035 (www.wp2035.org) and believes that humanity’s fundamental challenge is to create a peaceful and sustainable world.
